JOB DESCRIPTION

Title of position: General Manager-Corporate Sales
Department: GSA for Aerounion and Copa airlines in Great China, including mainland, Hongkong and Taiwan
Reports to: Head of GSA

-To lead and manage the area GSA sales resources to ensure the delivery of the GSA growth ambitions.
-Manage and develop all strategic aspects of GSA sales, ensuring a robust and strong market presence in the air freight market.
-In conjunction with management, propose, agree and deploy appropriate sales structure and resources to deliver GSA's growth ambitions in Great China.
-Formulate the GSA Great China sales strategy and market approach.
-In alignment with the airline global sales strategy, develop and execute the area sales and marketing plan including ground-up territory level sales plans, budgets and targets and culminating in the area level growth targets for air freight activities.
-Organise, coach, challenge and develop all direct reports
-Reinforce Globelink Group culture, values and reputation, and ensure compliance with Globelink Group policies
-Delivery of sales budgets
-Measured as per separate KPI's
-Establishing and driving strategy
-Cross cultural engagement and understanding
-Supplier management and negotiation
-High level customer engagement
-Driving organisations to achieve/achieving through others
-Engagement in process improvement and implementation
-Strong customer orientation with ability to anticipate customer expectation in an international environment.
-Open and positive with strong communication skills
-Excellent sales leadership and management skills
-Strong analytical skills
-Strong negotiation skills
-Strategic and creative thinking
-Able to formulate sales concepts and ensuring implementation
-Must have had international exposure, ideally worked abroad
-Have a senior presence and ability to engage on corporate Director / Vice President levels with clients as well as internally
-Proven Sales and management record on high level
-Significant experience in SALES management
-Command of English verbally and in writing
-Knowledge of the Great China business and air freight market
-Responsible for all sales decisions within the region
-Specifically responsible for proposing or deciding
- Sales specific strategies, priorities and targets
- Specialist resource deployment within the SALES organization in Region
-The approval limits are defined as per the matrix posted on the intranet
