Role Summary/Purpose
The Renewables Training Program Leader - Instructor primary role will be the efficient / effective delivery of hands-on and class room training to GE Wind Energy Services and Project Operations teams, as well as external customer and individual student development and mentoring. This individual will be responsible to develop new curriculum as well to establish a local footprint in terms of training in China.
Essential Responsibilities
• Organize international training classes at facility and onsite for internal GE and/or external customer field technicians
• Day to day management of the training team within the region ( long term )
• Point of contact for the global organization as well to the Europe Instructor team.
Single point of contact for the Finance department. Full responsibility for PO / Invoice management and defined OP Plan for the center. Regular reporting of Finance Ops data & figures
•Support develop and/or update existing training material to conform to product and global Services standards
•Develop / Maintain the training schedule for the Salzbergen site
•Support services training initiatives/projects as well Sales / Commercial team
•Participate as an active member of the Learning organization in defining and implementing new programs that support our goal of being the World's Best Services team
•Participate in regular scheduled Operations meetings with main stakeholder from Project Execution and Service to align training capabilities
Qualifications/Requirements
•Technical education ( BA in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering )
•Basic knowledge of business administration and financial acumen
•Strong communication skills and ability to comfortably address large audiences
•Basic Technical Knowledge of wind turbines
•Minimum of 4 years of experience in Wind Business
•Minimum 2 years' experience in day to day staff management
•Familiar with eBusiness tools and online applications
•Excellent organization, facilitation and negotiation skills
•Presentation skills and experience in dealing with customer
•Ability to adapt quickly to change and work successfully in an evolving and culturally diverse environment
•Multi-lingual (Chinese and English)
•Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% Domestic / International

•Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (GE employees only).
•Experience leading a training delivery staff and global training program
•Training or Public Speaking Experience
•Experience with Online Training Digitization
•Strong computer software aptitude and interest, with an ability to learn new concepts quickly and independently
•Strong metrics background and ability to set aggressive goals and manage operations to them
•Comprehensive knowledge of GE Energy products, processes, and organizational structure
•Training Material & Test Writing Experience
