Job Duite:

The Taishan EPR NI EP(Nuclear Island Engineering, Procurement) contract between AREVA, as the leader of a consortium with CNPDC and CNPEC (the Supplier) and the Purchaser (JNPJVC) is at a turning point with most of the equipment already delivered. Therefore the project enters into the contract closure phase with the sub-suppliers. A major part of the sub-supplier contracts to be closed are managed by consortium partner in China CNPEC and the contract closure process will need close follow-up, assistance, and control by AREVA. Therefore the main objective of the mission is to

- Ensure that the Contracts closure strategy defined by Project Direction and Contract Management is followed for CNPEC
sub-suppliers and that the corresponding Consortium Project Procedure is strictly applied by CNPEC.

Contract closure preparation reports

- Review the contract closure preparation reposts issued by CNPEC and in particular:
- the completeness check lists for documentation and equipment
- the potential claim strategy with the concerned sub-supplier, this strategy review requiring coordination with AREVA-Project
Management and Engineering

Specific claim or counter-claim files

- In many cases because of complicated interactions between AREVA Engineering and Procurement, the claim marrative will
have to be directly drafted by AREVA Contract Officer on behalf of CNPEC.

Contract closure and claim negotiations

- The Contract Officer will be called to support CNPEC during contract closure negotiations with their sub-suppliers


Job Requirements:

- Master of Law (business law) or equivalent, or engineering degree with contract management practice
- Minimum one year as law practitioner or at least three years of contract management activities
- Fluent English
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Result oriented
- Master current office soft-wares for word processing and presentation slides
