As a Release Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and readiness of new software releases as they made available to push into our production service. You'll work closely with developers to ensure the testability of functionality, automate our testing process end to end, and be responsible for scalability testing and performance benchmarks.

This responsibility will take you across the Cloudant software stack and include exposure to Erlang development. Ensuring quality and stability is essential to maintaining a demonstrated customer experience with our service.

This team employs development practices and driven delivers and deploys new software updates every few weeks. It is a driven and exciting project and team to be a part of.

Required

At least 1 year experience in NoSQL-type database management systems

At least 1 year experience in Quality assurance and software testing

At least 1 year experience in Software as a Service platform delivery

At least 1 year experience in Geospatial development

At least 2 years experience in Unix/Linux OS

Readiness to travel 10% travel annually

English: Fluent

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree

Basic knowledge in Erlang

At least 1 year experience in CouchDB

At least 2 years experience in Quality assurance and software testing experience

At least 2 years experience in Software as a Service platform delivery

At least 3 years experience in Unix/Linux OS
