This includes the development of forecasts for management review, recognising and managing abnormal demand, helping to ensure successful product launches, maintaining the integrity of our product portfolio, replenishment planning and inventory management. Essential Responsibilities

The persons will be responsible for: Demand Analysis Statistical sales forecasting Sales & Operations Planning Controlling Product Launches Balancing Supply and Demand Key Performance Metrics The department is required to demonstrate agility in responding to a dynamic commercial environment and to continuously improve operations while maintaining the highest level of service to our customers. It is expected that the successful candidate will have the drive and ability to quickly attain a business overview and fully partake in all development initiatives. The department uses both SAP R3 as its core ERP system and SAP APO for Demand & Supply Planning. The new hire will be responsible for forecasting the global product portfolio using the Demand Planning module of SAP/APO. Statistical forecasts are created based on sales history and adjustments are applied at an aggregated level. In the Supply Network Planning module the planner will use master data to control the supply chain (e.g. safety stock, replenishment frequency and sourcing).

Qualifications/Requirements

Graduate in a quantitative field such as management science, mathematics, statistics or economics/business administration. Demonstrable excellent analytical ability and a desire to use computer systems. An ability to work to short deadlines in a dynamic working environment. Great communication skills and fluent in both oral and written English.
