Role Summary/Purpose

• Continuously benchmark PC offering vs. competition in China • Prioritize program needs for China growth, and derive priorities for Rotating Machines, Controls & Automation, and Power Electronics: o NPI (New Product Introduction) o Product Structuring o Product Cost-out o Product Cycle reduction • Clearly communicate product strategy to China team • Commercialize new products into China

Essential Responsibilities

• Collect / Analyze win/loss data within China, Benchmark vs. competition • Deliver Multi-Generation-Product-Plan (MGPP) based on ‘push/pull’ for China • Build business case with China team for each program funding request • Meet customers for customer education/training, validation of programs, competitive intelligence and further feedback • Contribute to Deal Strategic Reviews for biggest bids in China • Design and execute NPI commercialization plans • Respond to ad hoc requests from China team • Key metrics included: ITO Hit rate % for China, CM% for China, Order Intake % growth for China

Qualifications/Requirements

• Min. 7-yr work experience• Deep domain knowledge on Power Conversion market in China• Strong business acumen – good understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior and competitive landscape• Experience working in a global and cross-functional environment (matrix)• Good communication and presentation skills
