Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

• Maximize business returns from mega projects or key accounts by providing customers with total solutions developed from GE Intelligent Platforms portfolio (www.ge-ip.com). • Identify competitive solutions for strategic markets and adjacent spaces. • Explore white-space growth opportunities and emerging business opportunities. • Drive product innovation, profitability and competitiveness for market success. • Support multi-generation portfolio planning, new product introduction, and go-to-market execution. • Develop strategic partners and channels for expanded foot-print and market coverage. • Add value in supporting cross-business and cross-region key account sales opportunities. • Build internal teams and external resources for long-term sustained growth.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Only the best. • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or above. • Minimum 12-year commercial or product innovation experience in automation and control solutions (www.ge-ip.com) with at least 5 years in leadership roles. • Solid knowledge in the automation and control industry with demonstrated thought leadership in system solutions. • Technically competent with end-to-end expertise in automation and control products and solutions. • Proven track-record of success in vertical market solutions. • Strong ability to guide and influence customers at all levels and of various functions. • Good knowledge and hands-on experience in crisis management. • Strong analytical skills and execution capabilities. • Customer centric, growth driven, service and quality oriented. • Say-Do accountability and tenacity to follow through tough missions. • Self-starter and fast learner. Can-Do attitude. • Team builder with strong ability to energize and inspire the cross-functional virtual teams. Lead by example. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both listening and presentation. • High proficiency in English and Chinese languages, both written and verbal. • Certified Six-Sigma qualification.
