Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

*Organize, supervise and plan activities for all level of programming activities in the Machine Shop. *Establish and carry out the Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement process within the department. *Participate in continuous process improvement, six sigma project and SGIA Team in Lean MFG. *Specify standard unit run time for MFG of components parts and assemblies by use of estimations, time studies and case history. Also provides estimations of run time for costing of new products and projects, take charge of the preparing works of fixture. *Provide the support to the production department and the sales department, including the PIMS information transmission to the MAX system in, the manufacture suit the Chinese national the forging drawing, the track and the replacement which the project blueprint and BOM revised, the product cost analysis and the calculation *Plan routings for special jobs that arise at the request of Production Control, Quality Control, Engineering etc. Evaluates and alters, if required original planning to correct errors, or sequence of operations on routing to improve production *Establish best machining strategy with Process Team to reduce manufacturing costs, as well as increase production throughput, Provide the elaborate routing for machining. *Maintain a neat and clean working environment through daily 5S housekeeping practices. *Comply with all applicable quality, safety & health, as well as environmental regulations.

Qualifications/Requirements

*Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or government recognized certificate in Metal Machining in 6-10 years working experience with Cad Cam and IT knowledge. *Adaptation & interpretation of practices and procedures such as tooling application / programming preparation / process implementation etc. *Should have thorough knowledge of cutting tool application, Fanuc & G&L8000 & & SIEMENS 840D program, fixture devices, part setting etc. *Adoption and interpretation of established practices & procedures. *Participating in Lean Manufacturing for continuous process improvement. *Analytical and good decision making. *Strong communication and interpersonal skill and must be a team player.
