Role Summary/Purpose
Essential Responsibilities
Essential Functions: TPM for Small appliance •Lead and execute NPI and 2nd source projects utilizing GE Trademark Licensing program processes. •Monitor vendor’s activities to ensure the compliance with GE product quality policies. •Communicate with licensee to finalize new concept review, product specification/ qualification plans and other technical elements. Conduct NPIs tollgate review process, released and signed off technical review •Set up working processes with licensee to ensure consistent product quality and decrease GE's risk. •Provide qualification reports; work with Licensee closely to address and solve all product issues before shipment. •Control product quality; oversee conformance tests and on-site inspections to protect GE’s image
Qualifications/Requirements
•Bachelor or above, major in mechanical design or related. •Familiar with 6 sigma and Lean manufacturing, can well use the SPC, DFMEA/PFMEA, CONTROL PLAN, DOE etc. •Acquainted with UL Standard on small appliance(US market), and experienced in new product introduction tollgate review and risk assessment. •Aware of reliability requirement and tools(weibull) for electronic products •Good skills in project management (scope definition, cost and schedule control) and supplier management •Displays can-do, optimistic attitude and timely delivery •Skills in presentation, oral and written English
Desired Characteristics
•Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
