Key performance areas:
Environment, Health and Safety

Cash Conversion Cycle Responsibilities:
Days Sales Outstanding
·Fully support the Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) vision and objectives, in particular, the Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) objectives for the region, and that your demonstrable actions, whether they be at point of negotiation, on sale, dispute resolution or during the collection drive, or a combination of all of the above, contribute towards continuous DSO improvement and the region achieving its overall DSO KPI.
Days Advances Outstanding
·Fully support the Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) vision and objectives, in particular, the Days Advances Outstanding (DAO) objectives for the region, and that your demonstrable actions, whether they be at point of negotiation or on execution of sale, or a combination of both of the above, contribute towards continuous DAO improvement and the region achieving its overall DAO KPI.
Business Growth and Development
Develop sales opportunities for all products and support. This includes the following activities:
·Assess customers’ total potential with product. Perform gap analysis by customer and site based on conveyor t population’s potential spend versus actual spend, prioritize these and determine action plan by Customer site.
·Assess customer product performance and reliability via parts availability and service effectiveness to ultimately reduce operational costs for the Customer.
·Develop a sales and support plan for your designated accounts or territory.
·Develop customer relationships that ensure customers remain loyal to the Sandvik brand.
·Maintain contact with engineering, contracting and houses, along with key personnel within major customers.
·Manage the customer’s expectations to ensure Sandvik can deliver.
·Gain direct access to product installations.
·In conjunction with the customer / Account Team develop a service support system that meets the requirements or service standards of the various accounts.
·Participate in the allocated Account Team with joint responsibility for gap analysis, forecasting, market analysis and competitor activity.
·Proactive use of the Salesforce CRM system.
·Liaise between Customers and company to ensure all warranty claims are settled in a timely fashion and are fast tracked as much as possible.
·Assess technical issues with all company equipment/product and prepare/coordinate/submit quotations for all expenditure.
Prepare, coordinate and submit tenders / RFQs for capital projects.
·Provide feedback to Account Managers who will work on recommended actions that may grow our business and provide closer customer support.
·Assist with site dissemination of bulletins and alerts for all company products.
·Travel to customer sites and partnering with customers to provide solutions with respect to project /capital/expansion items and aftermarket parts.
·Coordinate product trials and testing as required to further expanding the business value of “Premium Product - Premium Service - Competitive Price”.
·Conduct product audits (operational and administrative)
·Provide the Sales Manager with monthly status reports on business activity of the Accounts that they are servicing. Also determine market share by customer site.
·Monitor parts usage patterns and liaise with Inventory Controllers to ensure appropriate stock levels and stocked items.
·Participate and action OSMI items on a monthly basis.
·Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with Company Values and current Company Policies and Procedures.
People Management and Leadership
·Ensure Account Team members are fully informed of current status with Customer/s.
Financials
·Achieve budgeted revenue and GP.
·Ensure all Accounts are operating within company trading terms.
·Conduct monthly reviews of account status, including but not limited to DSO, GP and Revenue.
Customer Service
·Provide feedback to Personnel and the Customer to enable improvements to be made so that company can offer a continual improvement approach to the Customer.
Technical Expertise
·Ensure Customers have latest company product technology enhancements and are aware of the latest developments to obtain better performance.
·Continuously improve and update personal knowledge with respect to product development and technical innovation.
General
·Carry out duties as instructed by your manager.

·Undertake self-training and development as required
Your profile:
·A relevant degree or trade qualification OR a well-developed understanding of the application industry and associated equipment would be an advantage
·Proven sales experience or a keen willingness to learn sales techniques under the company Value Selling / TAIPANS Training Program is essential.
·Knowledge of and experience with any company product range would be beneficial.
·Strong safety focus.
·An understanding of the mining industry.
·Understanding of Mine Health and Safety Regulations is required.
·An ability to identify and deliver on opportunities – close the deal.
·Ability to work as part of an integrated, broad team.
·Flexible, self-motivated with demonstrated initiative.
·An in depth understanding of customer business processes.
·Superior customer relations and active listening skills.
·Demonstrative experience in preparing and presenting proposals
·Highly developed time management and organisational skills.
·Highly developed interpersonal skills.
·Ability to work under pressure and make decisions.
·Computer Systems Literacy (Word, Excel, Emails, Powerpoint) .
