Role Summary/Purpose
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for the design and implementation of Oracle ERP solutions with focus on MES and Kronos integration in the supply chain manufacturing domain. This role will be expected to leverage his/her Oracle ERP expertise, work across a matrix team, influence cross-functional teams and deliver first-class ERP solutions with application of project management tools & quality methodologies.
Essential Responsibilities
• Partner with functional leaders and users to standardize & improve business processes, evaluate and deploy digitized solution to enable the operation excellence.
• Act as the functional IT expert and the primary liaison with functional team in Oracle ERP with MES and Kronos integration; maintain peer relationship across IT (ERP COE, corporate, operations, Shared Services, GDC etc.) to support the implementation effective.
• Manage the MES and Kronos system deployment, upgrade and ongoing daily support in manufacturing sites.
• Responsible for BI reporting with system interfaces for the assigned area processes & functionality.
• Lead the data harmonization and analysis enabling to improve the supply chain fulfillment forecast, planning and execution efficiency.
• Provide ERP support towards integrations with relevant pillar 3rd-party applications.
• Initiate and coordinate internal & outsourced supplier efforts as required.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum 3-5 years of IT experience in Oracle ERP, MES and Kronos integration process with project management or equivalent.
• Deep understanding for the business process especially in production planning, MES and Kronos integration areas.
• Ability to foster cooperative relationships within a high matrix organization to create a winning environment.
• Demonstrated ability to understand, develop, and implement business processes to improve the best practices.
• Critical and analytical thought processes and able to interpret complex project issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization.
• BA/BS Degree in Management Information Systems or equivalent experience.
Desired Characteristics
• Possesses problem solving, prioritization, presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to make recommendations to all levels of the organization.
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (at least 5 projects which have been through all the phases of SDLC), including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies, and deployment management.
• Ability to concurrently manage multiple projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate team and to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems.
• PMP certified
• Experience of working in the shop floor/plant environment will be a plus
