Kering, world leader in apparel and accessories, which develops an ensemble of powerful brands across the Luxury and Sport & Lifestyle segments, for the Shanghai office of his Eyewear Division is looking for a Key Account Manager
Mission
The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for managing and developing the business with leading optical chains, department stores and online retailers. The main objective of the role is to actively drive sales and achieve budget targets by building and implementing sales and marketing plans for the top key accounts in China.
Key Responsibilities:
? Evaluate new customers positioning and suitability for launch of new brands /collections.
? Contact new and existing customers every season to introduce the latest collection.
? Communicate and present brand values and positioning together with collections highlights to buyers and customer’s stakeholders.
? Build Joint Sales and Marketing Plans with top accounts.
? Collect and analyse sell-out reports from customers.
? Discuss with the customer and set up in cooperation with the HQ Planning Department, the most suitable supply chain process in order to ensure the highest service level and orders fulfilment rate i.e. collaborative planning, automatic replenishment.
? Build Budget and Sales Plans by customer in cooperation with HQ.
? Collect and manage orders in cooperation with customer services department.
? Propose assortment plans and trade marketing activities to maximize customers’ sell-out.
? Regular visits to customers to ensure merchandising standards and stock holding is in line with sales performance.
? Ensure the highest possible customer service and follow through of orders and deliveries.
? Initiate and organize ad hoc events to help to support key customers.
? In cooperation with the Marketing Manager propose and negotiate trade and digital marketing plans with top accounts.
? Build strong external and internal relationships.
? Research and target new customers. Contacts database upkeep and creation.
? Assist the Finance department with invoice and money collection queries
Profile
? 5+ years of Account Management with a proven record in fashion accessories/ lifestyle or high end consumer goods in China
? Education at Degree level in subjects relevant to the fashion or eyewear sectors
Skills
? Sales driven with the ability to expand business, identify and develop new opportunities.
? Confident in dealing with customers and managing all aspects of the account.
? Ability to work effectively under pressure to seasonal and customer deadlines.
? Excellent organization skills and ability to manage and improve the sales process.
? Excellent communication, presentation and meeting management skills.
? Advanced MS Office skills especially Excel and PowerPoint.
? Experience in the Eyewear sector will be an advantage but not a must
