Primary Responsibilities:
The role of the ‘IT Engineer (Manufacturing IT – Operations Engineer Role) inTianjing as part of the Asia IT Manufacturing Team will be
IT Resource to support Tianjing Manufacturing Operations (Perso Manufacturing):
Here the primary task will be to support of Gemalto Tianjing factory’s information systems
including IT infrastructure, servers and applications; coordinates all the Manuf IT support activities in
Tianjing with regional and HQ IT team; maintain a high level of IT services availability and security
standard, support and comply with various IT security audits requirements.
Job Description
？ Responsible for Manufacturing IT Windows Systems / Server / Domain Operations & Support monitoring, & support including integration with WAN, LAN, firewall, servers, and associated hardware and software
？ To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum / zero downtime.
？ Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with business users and monitoring of IT systems performance.
？ Enhance & Improve Standard Operation Procedure in key areas (HW, Application, Certification support processes etc)
？ Close co-operation with regional and global IT Departments in order to follow Gemalto’s worldwide IT expertise and guidelines
？ Support IT security audits; maintain a high standard of IT security; Support and compliance with various audits requirements related to IT such as CUP, Visa, Master, etc.
Reporting
The position reports directly to Gemalto China Manufacturing IT Manager based in Shanghai
Education
？ Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Electronics/Computer Science or equivalent
Experience:
？ 5 years or above of proven experience in mission critical IT Operations & End-User Support envs
？ Strong skills and experience in Windows Server / Domain / Scripting and VMWare(ESX Platforms),
？ Possessing the working experience and knowledge on Oracle.
？ Strong working knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies & with hands-on experience in mid-size envs
？ Knowledge of IT Security and exposure to IT audit will be an advantage.
？ Knowledge of Linux / Open Source tools and applications will be an advantage.
？ Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems
？ Strong communication and project management skills
？ Efficient problem solver
？ Good service oriented manner
Skills
？ Fluent in spoken and written English.
？ MSCE (Microsoft Certified Engineer) or equivalent experience.
？ Strong Knowledge of Switching / LAN Technologies.
？ Strong Knowledge & hands-on experience working with VMWare
？ In-depth knowledge in virtualization, network security
？ Strong understanding of project management principles
？ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
