Job Summary / Job Purpose

-To work with the senior counsels of the team on the corporate banking related legal works;
-Transversal works as assigned from time to time.

Main Responsibilities /Accountabilities / Tasks
1. Work with the senior counsels of the team on the corporate banking related legal works, coverage including without limitation the following:
-(1) Review and draft the non-standard business contracts and attend to the daily enquiry from business lines.
-(2) Work with business lines for the development of template documents.
-(3) Provide legal advice for the new products launch.
-(4) Cooperate with other legal counsels in Asia in providing local support, and for the legal issues in relation to cross-board transactions, and
-(5) Manage panel firms.
2. Work with the head of legal in implementing legal policies and setting up permanent supervision within Legal Department.
3. Other ad hoc tasks/responsibilities or transversal legal works as assigned by the head of legal, such as premise leasing, outsourcing and labour related .

Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
Minimum 3 years experience in major foreign banks or global law firms
Good communication and inter-person skills
Fluent in English and Mandarin. Drafting skill of legal documentation in both Chinese and English.
Certificate of PRC Legal Profession
