Job Description

We are looking to bring an experienced and passionate digital advertising executive to lead our Beijing team. The individual should possess a deep understanding of the online/mobile advertising industry in China as well as the local China mobile app and game developer community. You will drive our Aarki China office strategy by developing deep relationships with key people at mobile app and game developers, publishers, brands, and advertising agencies, while recruiting and retaining a world-class team. This position is a very senior role and will report directly into the CEO of Aarki, Inc.



Responsibilities

- Develop and implement Aarki’s mobile advertising strategy in China

- Identify and develop relationships with relevant top tier mobile app and game developers, brands, publishers and advertising agencies in the local China market

- Manage advertiser relationships to quarterly revenue and monetization targets, while managing to an annual budget and profitability goals

- Recruit and retain a world-class team, while building and maintaining a positive and vibrant office environment

- Support the sales cycle by effectively communicating the value of Aarki's advertising solutions

- Provide leadership and vision to the organization

- Develop a deep understanding of our eco-system partners

- Have informed opinions on our internal sales strategy and channel partner feedback, contributing to the development of our products and services

- Establish themselves and Aarki as a clear though leader in mobile advertising within the local China community



Desired Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of successful business development, strategic account management, marketing or sales experience in digital advertising with consistent overachievement
- Experience working closely with mobile app developers and game developers

- Experience working closely with brands, publishers and advertising agencies

- Experience defining core strategy and building a team

- Experience successfully selling mobile and/or online advertising solutions (CPI, CPM, CPC, etc.)

- Strong relationships at all levels with brand agencies and advertising clients

- Strong English and Mandarin speaking and writing skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as great listening skills

- Goal oriented personality, committed to success and a strong work ethic

- Must be comfortable calling on all levels of an organization

- Extremely detail oriented, comfortable working independently, extremely well organized, have the technical aptitude to learn new technologies

- Highly self motivated with go-getter and can-do attitude, friendly, roll-your-sleeves-up individual who thrives in a smaller team/startup/entrepreneurial environment, where priorities (and sometimes tasks and responsibilities) are continuously shifting

- At least a Bachelors degree
