Position: Correspondent Banking Division Officer

Report to: Correspondent Banking Division Manager

Job Summary:
To be responsible for promoting good relationship with financial institutions to support our bank’s business activities, conduct KYC, Nostro accounts open and closure, create customer information and propose all credit applications for correspondent banks.

Responsibilities:

To analyze, evaluate and monitor the credit standing of Bangkok Bank’s correspondent banking partners and counterparties around the world.
？ To recommend and set up an appropriate interbank limit to facilitate BU's business requirement;
？ To prepare and complete the full credit applications for all the assigned banks under responsibilities and to cooperate with the Credit Acceptance Unit Department (CAU) on FI risk management control in order to facilitate the Credit Application process (CA);
？ To prepare the agency agreements (Relationship Management Applications) for all new banks with the full analysis of the bank’s credit standing and to recommend an appropriate course of action to the Relationship Manager / Head of CBD;
To promote good relationship with international and local financial institutions;
To maintain close contact with our focused correspondent banks in various levels between two banks;
To evaluate and comment on the request for establishing new correspondent banking relationship, bank’s products, and the opening closing of Vostro/Nostro accounts with financial institutions;
To review existing relationship with correspondent banks whether to maintain or to cancel such relationship with those banks, based on financial status, business volume and potential opportunities.

Job Specifications:

？ Bachelor degree or above in related fields (Banking and Finance, Accounting, etc)
？ 2+ years banking experience in FI credit / marketing field
？ Good credit analysis and credit application writing skills
？ Good knowledge of banking products is a plus
？ Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
？ Computer literate Excel, Word, Power Point
