职位描述

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of the Engine Manufacturing Targets & Objectives for the calendar year. Design, Develop & Maintain the database for tracking all Objectives and monthly status in each category (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, Maintenance, Environmental, Launch & FPS)


Manage all aspects of the objectives with all Skill Leads to develop the Business Plan Reviews for the Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering Division.

· Prepare weekly BPR summary for the Director

· Coordinate & Lead the Skill Leads in the development of supporting documents and back up material

· Review the BPR & Supporting documents with the Director and provide insight & feedback to the Director based on engagement of the Skill Leads

· Post BPR deck to Sharepoint and manage all changes and versions

· Communicate formatting, scheduling, data & target changes to the entire Engine Division

· Develop & Maintain the Weekly Executive Summary provided to the Director for preparation of the BPR deck review. Utilize feedback from the Plants, Skilled Leads, OCM Scorecards, Productivity Throughput Decks and other various sources to prepare the summary, review and discuss issues with the Director ahead of the meeting.

· Develop the reporting system used by the Launch Managers to report on Manufacturing Launch Readiness. Continue to maintain the system based on feedback from Skill Leads & the Director. Utilizing the reporting system input, develop the Launch BPR deck.


Develop and Maintain the Plant Operating Review Decks used during monthly Director visits to the Plant.

· Train & support the Plant Teams in the use of the Standard POR Package

· Continue to make changes and updates to the Standard package based on new & changing/developing metrics

· Maintain & manage the Sharepoint site & Document libraries for the POR Package

· Production Variance Reporting - Facilitate the development of the weekly production variance report. Interface with Plant Managers & Area Managers on action plan resolution for common cause downtime.

· Lead the facilitation of the weekly OCM meeting

· Develop the DPR based on feedback from the Plants during the weekly OCM meeting

· Utilize the OCM Scorecards to update the Weekly JPH report (used for JPH Target setting) & also to develop the Delivery BPR slides (Production Loss %)

· Maintain changes and updates to the Standard OCM Scorecard Template, communicate changes to the entire Engine Division


Utilization of Capacity Analysis to address Sales & Mix issues, coordinate and support the "Get Ready" report/capacity planning process with all Support Functions and work with the Director of Manufacturing to communicate all manufacturing engineering changes that affect capacity and the overall Ford Production Volume Planning process.

· Meet regularly with the MBO and discuss Get Ready status for the Engine Manufacturing Division.

· Provide assistance and support to enable the process to flow appropriately between functions, by coordinating the reviews between the Director, the Plants, PTME & MBO.

· Attend Weekly Volume Meetings, Monthly Production Program Reviews & the Production Control Meetings and provide feedback to the Director & Plants

· Support the development of the Manufacturing Summer Shutdown Plan.


Development of position papers to address contract negotiations and planning strategies for the future of the Powertrain footprint and labor agreements.

· Lead the development of schedules to provide information to the partners, schedule follow ups and communication meetings with the Director.

· Lead the coordination of data from various functions to provide positions to the leadership regarding on-going product & Plant development.

· Participate in Negotiations for Sourcing Sub-committees

Facilitate various Executive meetings by preparing the documents libraries, agendas, guest speakers and staff materials.

· Manage & Facilitate various Executive meetings based on the needs of the Division

· Ensure all details for the meetings are managed accordingly, including location, agendas, facility needs, document libraries, guest speakers & Skill Lead Materials

· Review materials with the Director and make changes to the process when needed

· Communicate the details of the Executive meetings to the entire Engine Division


Obtain files, documents, reference data early to prepare positions or inquires for various Executive meetings


Speak with other stakeholders to understand positions, issues, concerns and to provide alternate approaches or view points


Lead the on-going efforts of in-sourcing of product and subassemblies throughout the entire enterprise, focusing coordination of the PTO division according to the developed Strategy Lists. Support Business Case development and lead the joint in-sourcing committee with the sourcing team, along with the cross-functional company team.


Qualifications

· Bachelor degree and above

· 8 years working experience

· Powertrain Manufacturing / Automotive Industry is preferred

· Technical Skills: Engineering and Manufacturing Plant operations

· Functional Skills:

o Manufacturing Engineering

o Operations Management

o Finance and Industrial engineering

· Project Management

· Spoken and Written English

· Presentation and Computer skill
