Overview

KPMG Forensic team provide clients with commercial and financial expertise in the areas of Fraud and Misconduct Investigations, Intellectual Property and Conduct Compliance Services, Fraud Risk Management, Forensic Technology and Corporate Intelligence.

We work closely with industry professionals in Asia Pacific, and worldwide through the KPMG International Forensic network of over 1,900 professionals to conduct successful enquiries and analyse financial information across numerous jurisdictions.

Successful candidates should expect to work on a wide variety of project based work, across a broad range of Forensic work types, industries and geographies.

Responsibilities:

The role undertaken by the individual will depend on the type and circumstances of each project and experience of the individual and will generally incorporate the following:

- Assist with the creation and development of proposals
- Project execution and management including involvement in developing work procedures, leading data analysis and interviews, identifying issues, drafting reports, communicating with Partner, and client liaison
- As required, have the ability to act as the interim engagement leader
- Proactively identify likely issues that could impact delivery, assist with the coordination and project management of KPMG and client teams to deliver on-time and quality services
- Assist Partners in office administration and business development tasks
- Strong commercial sense

Experience:

- A degree holder with an accounting background and a professional accounting qualification
- Substantial experience (a minimum of 5 years) in audit, investigation, compliance and/or other related areas, including at least 3 years in financial investigations, strong attention to detail and ability to handle and analyse complex financial information.
- Investigation experience with a law enforcement / regulatory agency, from industry or within a professional consulting environment would be valuable
- Excellent written and oral English

Education and Professional Certifications:

- A bachelor degree in an Accounting, Commerce, Law or other related majors
- Qualified CPA or equivalent is advantageous but not essential
- A degree holder with a law or relevant background is advantageous
