This is a leading US multinational, specialises in the manufacture, sales and distribution of medical services and solution with unparalleled reputation in the market. Recent expansion has created a new position for a high calibre finance professional to join its dynamic team.
This position covers Asia region.
This is a world-class medical equipment and services organization constantly striving to create opportunities to profitably extend its consumer reach throughout the global market place.
Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Asia with dotted line to Global CFO, you will have responsibility for all finance and accounting issues for the China region (Shanghai and Beijing) with responsibilities include:
? provide full-fledge finance leadership for China region including AR, AP, GL, month-end closing, preparation of both financial and management reporting package for China region (Shanghai and Beijing)
? manage a small finance team based Shanghai and Beijing
? drive finance business process improvement and effectiveness; ensure all process and reports are in compliance with local and US GAAP
? work closely with general and business management team in analysing and interpreting commercial data including customer profitability and pricing proposals
? this is a hands-on position which will involve the preparation, planning and monitoring of the regional budgets, extensive management reporting including periodic, actual, sale by sale, cashflow and other special projects
? represent the finance function in all commercial decision making including strategic M&A and business partnership negotiations
? collaborates with sales, legal, compliance, and local country management team to ensure compliance with anti-corruption, anti-fraud and anti-kickback laws.
Requirements:
? a qualified accountant with at least eight to ten years’ experience within a multinational corporation
? experience in the medical services/equipment or pharmaceutical industry is an advantage but not a must
? a highly organised and analytical individual who is proactive, dynamic and outgoing
? fluency in Mandarin and English is essential
