The Business
Towers Watson’s Rewards, Talent & Communication consultants provide the strategy, design and execution support essential for paying people appropriately and enabling organizations to attract, retain, motivate, and engage employees efficiently and cost-effectively.

We rely on market-leading models, research and data to ensure that reward programs are competitive and aligned with performance goals, and meet employee needs while delivering the greatest impact to the organization’s bottom line.

Global total rewards philosophy development
Career frameworks
Job family architecture
Compensation benchmarking and structures
Broad-based employee incentive plan design
Reward program implementation
Assessment of ongoing effectiveness

We help companies define peer groups, benchmark and price jobs and create enterprise-wide compensation structures. We advise on organizational structure and design and implement job family architecture and job leveling methodologies, factoring in links to competencies and other talent management programs.

Our proprietary approach to job architecture and leveling helps clients create a framework that embeds a consistent and efficient reward strategy across the organization, while also clarifying roles and responsibilities to ensure that every employee knows how he or she contributes to key business goals.

The Role
As a Manager in Rewards, Talent & Communication, you will be responsible for leading project teams, managing experienced talent, and facilitating the development of less experienced associates through coaching and mentoring. You will also be responsible for initiating business development opportunities, generating revenue and managing client relationships on a day to day basis.

People
Lead project team of associates, managing experienced talent, and facilitating the development of less experienced associates through coaching and mentoring.

Clients
Think strategically in partnering with clients to form unique approaches to solving their business problems
Personally provide high quality consulting advice and deliverables to senior leaders in client companies in the areas listed above
Develop and manage selected key accounts in a way that results in long term client relationships with multiple lines of service across practices

Financial
Make a contribution to China initiatives which support regional business results
Work closely with Line of Business Leaders to create, then implement business plans that achieve profit and revenue goals
Initiate business development opportunities, generate revenue and lead projects in the area of Reward/Talent/Communication & Change
Assess the marketplace for client opportunities, then nurture qualified leads into profitable new business wins
Work closely with Segment, LOB and Practice Leaders and other senior consultants to create, then implement business plans that achieve profit and revenue goals

The Requirements
Minimum 5-7 years of successful experience in adding value to client business results (ideally in a consulting role). The experience with financial industry especially bank and securities industry or telecom industry is preferred.
Strong market knowledge and established local network
Skilled at establishing credibility with management teams or boards and in discussing complex client business issues and potential solutions
Expertise in either Reward, Talent Management or Communication and Change Management
Track record of helping clients achieve their business goals through targeted human capital initiatives
Demonstrated ability to build strong client and associate working relationships
Proven project management skills
Proven ability to lead and develop a team of high performing consulting professionals.
Self driven achiever with a value for teamwork, collaboration, decisiveness, integrity in all that is done
Strong presentation skills
Good command of both written and oral English and Mandarin
