Responsibility:
- Develop the new product and manage the existing product portfolio according to the product strategy and drive effective product packaging initiatives with alignment of the Group and local front line and customers’ needs.
- Work closely and align with product steering committee, work group to ensure product design and support suit to customer life journey and fit to distribution model
- Propose and agree with stakeholders detailed product features, benefits and rules, coordinating across technical support functions and core teams
- Develop sound business cases according to the agreement with distribution stakeholders for management approval
- Work with product development and management committee to optimize the project priorities & pipeline to ensure we manage within budget and maximize the business benefits
- Lead the product working group to agree product development and launch timelines, and to manage delivery against these timelines
- Take responsible for sales and service process for new product launch
- Active monitoring and management of new business mix and profitability to ensure ROP targets are achieved
- Identify and recommend appropriate actions on products to help ensure healthy margins on new business and drive the appropriate sales behavior
- Drive appropriate market & customer research to monitor needs and buying behavior of the company’s key customer segments
- Customer profile and product portfolio analysis to help support new product and business developments
- Work with marketing team to initiate effective product promotion campaigns to support the business generation

Requirement:
- Knowledge
· Understand the market, business model and business performance
· Good leadership, planning, analytical, problem solving, decision making skills
· Good technical skill, product knowledge and business sense
- Experience
· Over 5 years relevant experience in financial services, particularly insurance/ wealth management products retailing to the mass affluent via multiple distribution channels
· Proven experience of Insurance/ Retail Wealth product implementation and product management
· Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent relationship building and senior stakeholder management skills
· High levels of energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to influence, engage and lead in a positive and inspiring manner
- Qualification
· University degree in relevant discipline
