Overall responsibility and authority for metrology operations in Tektronix manufacturing.
Apply measurement science, mathematics and physics to develop, document and maintain calibration systems, procedures and methods for electrical measurement and test equipment based on analysis of measurement problems, accuracy and precision requirements.
Evaluate new calibration methods and procedures in NPI process.
Determine calibration source.
Out of tolerance evaluation process control.
Use statistics to analyze measurement standards and process.
Perform oversight on measurement instrument repair/calibration management.
Analyze measurement data for identifying abnormalities, trends and/or predicting future values.
Recommend test instrument standards for use in measurement applications.
Perform uncertainty evaluation and analysis for measurement standards and associated measurement process.
Conduct technical audits of the calibration laboratory to verify traceability fo standards and compliance with published standards and guidelines.
Training to test engineer/other department in calibration concepts and procedures.
Oversight of metrology records.
Respond to any customer questions about metrology related issues.
Respond to any internal/external metrology audit, and take necessary corrective actions to any findings/nonconformance.
Oversight of environment operation limits.


Requirement:
Master degree in electrical metrology area.
Good knowledge in ISO17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.1 requirement.
Good Knowledge in Electrical and RF Measurement Sciences.
Experience in Technical writing.
Good Statistics and Data Analysis knowledge (ANOVA, DOE, Linear Regression, Gage R&R, SPC).
Basic circuit analysis knowledge.
Good English skills on read, written & verbal and presentation
Good communication skill and ability to work within a team environment
Good computer skill.
