Position Summary:
- Plan audits of responsible EMS partners and suppliers, on an on-going basis, to ensure suppliers are in the audit program with continual improvement mindset.
- Work with supply chain management to identify supply bases in south China that require audits and improvement.
- Prepare proper audit framework and checklist(s) so that audits are conducted consistently and objectively.
- Organize cross function team meeting, report audit results and perform result statistical analysis as necessary.
- Document and follow through on audit findings and work with suppliers for improvement, and maintain responsible supplier audit scorecard.
- Promote quality achievement and performance improvements throughout the supply chain.
- Liaise with 3rd party auditors like CCC and UL to ensure compliance to regulatory standards and verify successful implementation of corrective actions.

- Coordinate and conduct line readiness audits before mass production start at EMS site(s) and supply base in south China.
- Proven track record of working with supply base on auditing and improving the supply chain to excellence.
- Work with supply chain management to audit potential suppliers and identify risks, as part of qualifying a supplier. Ensure risk mitigation plans are developed and realistic before suppliers are approved.

Responsibilities:
- Work with QMS to develop, implement and continually improve the system.
- Maintain the audit plan accuracy
- Promote lean manufacturing concepts and implementation within the SONOS supply chain.
- Develop QMS audit processes and procedures of manufacturing/ supplier site(s).
- Develop an After Action Review process and drive implementation at the supplier / manufacturing site(s).
- Publish audit reports and analyze audit data for management review.
- Provide training and coach on supplier quality system improvement.
- Drive continuous learning and improvement activities.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or manufacturing discipline.
- Master’s degree would be given preference.
- Certified Quality Auditor (Lead auditor certification preferred)
- Ten or more years of experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role in auditing practice
- Knowledgeable in quality tools and deployment
- Preferred experience of FMEA, Control plan, SPC and MSA
- Preferred experience with turnaround and planned change to existing systems.
- Preferred experience in social responsibility audits (EICC/ CSR)
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 and the requirements. Knowledge in ISO14001, SA8000 or EICC, OSHAS18001 would be a definite advantage
- Be willing and able to travel within China up to 75% of their time
- Excellent Mandarin and English language skills (both written and spoken)
