Job Description
Ensures that training output and subsequent service provided within TRB is fit for purpose and requirements.
Key performance indicators pertain to quality service standards being achieved via training, assessment and service enhancement utilizing a strategic approach to the work. This position advises on service or business efficiency improvement solutions and utilize training tools and techniques to enable achievement of quality and staff development.
Primary Responsibilities:
Establish systems and structures to stimulate operational based training that is effective, innovative and measurable;
Develop a training culture that embraces the importance of continuous service improvement of all TRB departments;
Support in establishing learning tracks for each TRB position or level that meets the training needs of Company;
Identify training needs by maintaining close relations with Department Leaders then recommending quality training solutions for service enhancement;
Design training curriculum and facilitate training sessions in line with operational service needs;
Develope TRB internal trainers;
Support TRB operations in the development and coordination of team building and development activities for operational managers;
Follow up on service feedback through interpretation, evaluation and measurement of results and implement action plans when required;
Support and promote company wide training initiatives and strategies;
Develop and maintain positive relations with personal from key external training resource.
Ability to communicate well to all levels of management and employees;
Displays a high commitment to improving customer service;
Encourages people to work as a team;
Achieves agreed objectives and accepts accountability of results;
The ability to work flexible hours suitable to the work environment;
Tertiary qualifications (Human Resources, Social Sciences or a related discipline) preferable;
Must have minimum of 5 years’ experience in a HR/Training function or related Quality Management position;
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products;
Demonstrates well developed project planning skills;
Takes a pragmatic approach when confronted with challenging situations
