职位描述
Responsibilities:
1. Being utterly and completely awesome as a member of our team. This means being enthusiastic, eager, and earnest. You will treat our company’s goals as your own and jump at opportunities to use your intelligence and skills to help the team.
2. Anticipating and figuring out what you can and should do without requiring anyone to micromanage you. This means grasping what your fundamental mission is, asking the right questions, and finding the right answers and resources from those around you so you are able to fulfill your mission. Help us help you help us!
3. Monitoring and managing our company’s English-language official websites and social media channels:
a. Adapting non-English content for a native English audience.
b. Creating additional regular content that engages our audience.
c. Interacting with our users, making them fans, then disciples!
d. Defusing possible problems, knowing when you need to escalate an issue you cannot handle to those who can.
4. Tracking and reporting on your work, progress, and achievements so everyone is on the same page. Quantify and qualify your contributions to the team.
5. Support Marketing Director in other marketing and outreach initiatives.
Desired Skills and Expertise:
1. Bachelor’s Degree, to demonstrate you survived the rigors and distractions of college. More important than a piece of paper is demonstrated intelligence and maturity.
2. Native English language fluency required without exception. Chinese language fluency a big plus. Spanish/Portuguese native fluency would be a huge plus. Hola!
3. Passionate about social media. You should be an active user of social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and comfortable with discussion forums, and comments sections. The GFW is not an excuse. You should love your social media so much you already have a VPN.
4. Literate in mobile devices and mobile apps, with familiarity in Android OS a big plus. You’re not expected to be a hardware engineer or programmer, but it’d be nice if you know the lingo used when talking about mobile devices and apps.
5. Excellent communication and copywriting skills reflecting not only a firm grasp of spelling and grammar but also your ability to positively and constructively engage an audience. You should have a Marketing and Public Relations mindset, analytical but also empathetic.
6. Familiarity with basic HTML and SEO a plus. Prior blogging or web development experience would be a huge plus.
7. Basic image editing skills a plus. Photoshop skills and a good eye for good design and aesthetics would be a huge plus.
