The IBM AVP(Software Accelerated Value Program) team is the bridge between the client and IBM. Our mission is to unlock the value of client’s IBM software investment by delivering enhanced technical advisory offerings and customized solutions that helps client to efficiently accelerate from software purchase to software ROI. AVP offerings mainly focus on Proactive Support, Knowledge and Skill Sharing, and Problem Management to IBM customers.

This role will participate IBM software key accounts customer support and AVP services delivery as technical specialist; This job role requires building relationship with the customer and understanding their business and technical operations. Provide AVP services like planning, deployment, configuration, development guide, and software problem management, performance tuning and troubleshooting. Detailed responsibilities include:

- Consulting with the customer to design and provide solutions for their concerns areas

- Multiple simultaneous customer engagements

- Deliver the design and technical solution

- Facilitate technical training to end customers.

- Assist the customer in resolving critical technical issues.

Products required to be supported for this position focus on WebSphere Family including WAS(WebSphere Application Server), WebSphere MQ/MB, Business Process Management, TXSeries/CICS, etc.

Required Skills:

Professional and technical skills:

-- In depth technical skills on WAS and WebSphere MQ/MB are required;

-- IBM TXSeries/CICS skills are a strong plus;

-- Business Process Management(BPM/WPS) skills are a plus;

-- Hands on technical skills are required including troubleshooting, performance tuning, etc.

-- Project management skill is a good plus;

-- Strong Java skills and development experience is a good plus;

-- System maintain & administration experience is a strong plus;

-- Unix/AIX experience is a plus;

Soft skills:

--Creative problem solving;

--Strong communication skill. Willing to do customer facing job;

--Pressure endurance;
