职位描述
We are recruiting an Optical Engineer position in transmission components R&D (Shenzhen), in Communication and Commercial Optical Products business unit. Our development scope focus on tunable transmission optical subassembly, which serves as key component in 10G/100G datacenter and telecom applications.
* The candidate will cover variety tasks of optical bench-top process development and optical testing of R&D samples for NPI projects.
* The candidate will make prototype and alpha samples by manual and automated optical alignments, and perform engineering validation test (EVT) and design validation test (DVT) in R&D lab.
* The candidate will work closely with development team on the test and sample build requirements. The test automation will be supported by testing software team. The candidate needs to setup and calibrate the test station, and provide automation requirements to testing software team.
Required Qualifications 1. Bachelor degree or above in optics, physics, or equivalent.
2. At least three years working experience in optical communications.
3. The understanding of fundamental principle Tx components (the tunable laser, wavelocker) is required.
4. The experience of Tx/Rx component packaging process (active Alignment, laser welding, epoxy and soldering) is preferred.
5. The knowledge of high speed modulation (such as DQPSK, DP-QPSK) and industrial testing equipments (DCA, VNA) is preferred.
6. Skill of statistical tools (JMP or Minitab), and automation control (using LabVIEW or customized programs) is a plus.
7. Good written and spoken English skill. Able to generate high quality testing report.
% Travel Required 1- 25 Percent
