Responsibilities


This opportunity is ideal for a private equity / investment banking / strategy consulting professional who has 2-3 years’ experience and is interested in working with leading global private equity funds and corporations.

Candidates need to be dedicated and motivated individuals who have demonstrated academic excellence and have strong leadership, analytical, communication and teamwork skills.

The role would involve:

- Supporting our clients to develop insightful understanding of investment target and its industry, including critical industry or market analyses, competitive benchmarking, opportunity assessments, and risk identification through in-depth primary and secondary research
- Be good at creating presentations that include analysis of economic and business cycles, industry value chain, market size, market segments, market shares, market drivers, market trends, products and services
- Benchmarking companies on various financial and operating parameters to understand industry growth and profitability
- Supporting our clients with financial analysis including market sizing, investment, DCF, trading/transaction comparables
- Conducting quality check on work delivered by junior analysts
- Assisting Vice President in various pitch presentations



Qualifications


- Native Chinese speaker
- Prior 2+ years experience in strategic consulting, investment banking, private equity or equity research in China; have a good understanding of Chinese market and enthusiastic about serving private equity clients
- Previous IT / Internet industry experience would be a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Solid report writing and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under time-sensitive environment
- Be able to take responsibility
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Experienced in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Excellent academic track record




Location: Beijing


Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience
