Opportunity


Copal is expanding its Beijing research centre, and is looking for highly motivated individuals to join us. Daily activities would include, but not limited to the following:

- Supporting the Loan Syndication team of a leading bank in preparing Information memorandums, macro-economic, industry and company overviews, peer comparison and presentations and market updates
- Help Identifying loan financing opportunities through financial analysis including capital structure, debt profile, maturity profile and headroom analysis
- Preparation of forecasting financial models and calculating projects cash flows and credit related ratios
- Preparing deal case studies/ summaries, league tables and credentials
- Other activities include client interaction, structuring deliverables & developing efficient work processes
- Ensure clear understanding of client requirements and very high quality of output
- Other ad-hoc tasks



Required Background


- Complete fluency in written and verbal Mandarin & English language
- Top academic credentials
- 1-3 years of experience in the Loan Capital market preferably in Loan Syndication team
- Leading and delivering projects, including:
o Drafting end-to end information memorandums
o Detailed company overviews and financial analysis
o Detailed industry and macro-economic overviews
o Peer benchmarking and ratio analysis
o Capital structure analysis and debt profile
o Financial models
o Market updates/ newsletters
- Should be well versed with Office 2007 specially Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Working knowledge of database such as Bloomberg, Thomson, etc
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience in Client handling




Location: Beijing


Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience
