Based in Shanghai, as a Senior Specialist, Procurement, you will be responsible for supporting SMP Project Procurement Manager for related procurement activities within the project team. You will be in charge individual SMP project purchasing activities including all bidding process from supplier pre-qualification to PO releasing and support Project Procurement manager to lead negotiation process and supplier selection.


In this role, your main responsibilities will be:

• Independently conduct whole purchasing activities (Goods & Service) with overall technical recognition and commercial consideration for SMP projects. The whole purchasing activities means start from the bidder pre-qualification and end with PO/contract close out.


• Act as the communication channel with the project to ensure all purchasing activities roll out smoothly. in charge Communicate with the project team efficiently; understand the requirements and concerns of the project ensure all procurement meet project’s expectation.


• Align with the project team to setup project procurement plan and detail purchasing schedule for main purchasing package. Follow up the project procurement plan and update Project procurement status report from time to time


• Cooperate with Global Engineering Procurement colleagues to issue PO/contract for import equipment and prime contract. Conduct the procurement Compliance management to ensure all the purchasing activities strictly follow company directive and procurement SOP.


• Provide indirect procurement service for PT, and other procurement work assigned by the supervisor.

You have a bachelor degree or above. This is a position for professionals with 8 year experience as minimum in procurement (CAPEX or indirect procurement). Experience in CAPEX Project procurement, especially in WFO Pharma project is preferred.

You are fluent in both written and oral English. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach, as well as the energy and motivation to succeed in a dynamic environment.
