The Position

Based in Shanghai, as Manager, Manager, Compliance Monitoring, Investigations & Risk Management, you will be responsible for supporting the team leader to ensure the adherence to standards and policies within the affiliate and to enable knowledge and best practice sharing across the region through sharing of common issues and problems.

You will support the local organization ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, codes and guidelines as well as the successful implementation of global, regional and local initiatives/projects. You will need to improve procedures, processes and guidelines by identifying gaps and provide employees with best practice examples of ethics and risk/opportunity management to ensure the implementation of Roche’s corporate values in day-to-day business.

In this role, your main responsibilities will be:

• Support the local risk/opportunity management approach and risk mitigating strategy;


• Establish auditing and monitoring checklists and procedures;


• Support the establishment of an annual monitoring work plan;


• Execute the monitoring activities according to the annual plan;


• Report monitoring findings to relevant functions;


• Track and support the resolution of the findings from monitoring activities;


• Maintain monitoring documentation;


• Maintain a comprehensive register of all findings as well as on implementation of corrective actions;


• Maintain the Business Ethics Incident Reporting


• Act as liaison with external parties in case of forensic investigations as well as lead special investigations resulting from speak-up cases;


• Support and deputize the other Compliance Manager positions within the organization;


• Support local affiliate on design and implementation of a process to identify, evaluate and properly handle potential ethics and compliance issues and concerns
  
  

Who you are

You have an university degree (preferably BA or LS). This is a position for professionals with 5 year experience in process and compliance development. Experience in Audit and Monitoring function (min. 3 years) preferably fraud investigations conducted.

You possess experience in a marketing or a sales environment and able to resolve complex issues in a matrix organization.

You are fluent in both written and oral English. You have excellent and proven communication and presentation/ training skills as well as effective organizational skills.
