职位描述
We are seeking a Market Manager to help expand our room supply network in Beijing. This person should be a high caliber executive capable of managing hotel accommodation pricing and inventory for all hotels in this region, and experienced in the hotel and/or travel industry or have sales or marketing experiences with previous exposure in hotel contracting. He/she is capable of establishing and managing hotel relationships. He/she will be assisting other trade partnership related functions, identifying market trends, and defining potential supply sources. Strong team management capacity is preferred.
General:
- Direct a highly skilled contracting team to develop and maintain supplier relationships.
- Understand the industry sector size, our penetration and our profit potential of this particular hotel partners/ group within the assigned territory.
- Hold direct inventory and revenue responsibility on a territory basis.
- Ensure last room availability and pricing competitiveness.
- Grow transactions and revenue for assigned destinations.
- Define team operation processes and delegate task.
- Initiate sales calls to generate suppliers support, gather market intelligence and meet prospective suppliers.
- Directly involves in key hotel or chain partner negotiation
Administration:
- Manage weekly and monthly supplier and internal reports.
- Regularly review progress against targets to ensure the optimum benefits (revenue, rate parity, availability, margin and conversion) through contracting activities.
- Manage all supplier data in distribution systems with optimal accuracy.
- Ensure compliance of supplier data (CRM) in assigned territories.
- Lead promotional and seasonal activities to drive sales.
- Ensure team complies with seasonal rate and allotment renewals deadlines.
- Participate in system development and deployment related to department and suppliers.
- Organize training of YCS systems for all internal and external users to maximize user base.
- Day to day operation of Beijing office.
Required Skills
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Fluent in both written and spoken language(s) of responsible territory.
- Direct work experience in China
- Working knowledge of account management.
- Computer skill essential.
- Education in Tourism related field is an advantage.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in travel industry.
- Chinese citizen, sorry we are unable to accept applications from candidates not eligible to work in China.
