职位描述
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
1. Establishes and executes plans for bookings and revenue and delivers to that plan. Forecasts future business for each fiscal year, and updates the forecast periodically, as required. Manages and controls sales expenses within planned budgets.
2. Defines how to effectively manage customer relationships, and implements a process to develop and maintain relationships. Keeps customers informed of new developments in which they might have an interest and develops customer confidence in MTS as favored vendor for position sensors. Actively participates in, or directly handles, the closing of significant orders when necessary. Supports development of quotations in accordance with business objectives and philosophies
3. Develops relationships distributors. Manages and expands the non-direct Sales network.
Defines plans, strategies and targets for the distributors in order to extend existing market segments and to identify new market niches. Establishes sales programs and provides regular technical trainings to the distributors in cooperation with Marketing.
4. Plans, organizes, staffs and develops a Sales Organization capable of achieving the appropriate coverage to meet market penetration, customer service, and volume targets consistent with Sensors’ business plans and objectives. Manages assigned employees and develops skills of staff by identifying development areas, establishing coaching, training and development plans.
5. Provides regular reports on sales results, customer and market activities, trends and competitive activities to the WW Industrial LL Sales & Marketing global leader as required.
6. Provides leadership and guidance in the usage/development of the companies’ Customer Relationship Management software tools (CRM) for the purpose of supporting both sales and marketing activities. Maintains continuously the CRM database to insure an optimized information flow.
7. Cooperates with the Marketing to develop a solid lead generating process, application notes development, exhibition and promotion plans.
8. Remains alert for sales opportunities relevant to other MTS Divisions or Business Groups and passes appropriate lead information to his/her selling counterpart in those organizations.
9. Manages relationship with MTS ST Japan for logistical processing of orders/ deliveries.
10 Knows and applies the quality policy and procedures of ISO 9001 as it relates to area of responsibility and the organization. Follows all standard operating procedures as prescribed and notifies appropriate personnel of any non-conformance.
11. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (EE/ME or similar). Masters Degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience in industrial control systems, sensor technology,
industrial automation, or control engineering
- Proven ability to hire, coach and develop Sales professions
- Good knowledge of the Chinese Industrial Machine market desired
- Fluent-English and Mandarin-spoken
