Position Description
The role of the ‘Service Delivery Manager’ in Shanghai as part of the Asia ISS Manufacturing is to lead & manage Service Delivery for Gemalto Full Perso Solutions & Business Services for customers hosted in Gemalto Shanghai-B facility. Here you will act as technical interface to lead projects, manage operations and coordinate end-to-end services hosting for customers from on-boarding of customers, system & solution integration to business as usual operations.
As the Service Delivery Manager’ you will have a key role in maintaining positive client satisfaction and act as a liaison between various cross functional teams (internal & external) & suppliers to ensure High Quality Business Services & Operations delivery E2E to customers.
Responsibilities Include:
Act as Project Manager for customer’s on-boarding to manage projects E2E through the entire life cycle from on-site Solution Deployment and Integration to operations run & support.
As a primary interface to customers , service providers, suppliers and all Gemalto internal team (OE, ISS, Security,PSC) to ensure Business Services & Support Quality is pro-actively tracked & monitored to ensure proactive services & support to Gemalto Business & Customers ensuring high customer & service satisfaction as SOP.
Regularly review service delivery performance and make recommendations to Gemalto Management team to enhance service or adjust to changing business needs proactivelyPerform necessary technical/user documentation such as System Integration, User Acceptance documentsConduct operation security compliance reviews of Business Services IT systems, network and services hosting to ensure Operational Security & Regulatory Audit / Compliance Support for all Business Services Delivery & Operations as SOP.
The Service Delivery Manager will be first point of contact for its assigned customers, and for a defined scope agreed with Service Management. In other cases they work as a pro-active escalation point towards the respective technical & support teams & providers.
· Technical Functions:
o Build and support security and network related infrastructure systems
Strong experience to manage switch, router, IDS , IPS and firewall configurationExperienced system integrator with expertise in onsite deployment, has good knowledge on different HW, OS include UNIX/Linux/Window,
o Provides first line technical support to customers on hosted services and manage first level incidents
o Maintain and administer network and perimeter security standards, documentation, processes and procedures.

§ The position reports directly to Gemalto ‘North Asia Manufacturing ISS Manager’ based in Shanghai
Education
§ Bachelor of Science in Computer Science /Electrical Engineering/Electronics or equivalent
Experience:
4-5 years of proven experience in mission critical IT Operations & End-User Support envsExperience with Juniper firewalls, Juniper NSM and Check Point Security DevicesExperience with Juniper SSL VPN appliances Experience with site-to-site VPN tunnels Strong working knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies & with hands-on experience in mid-size envsStrong knowledge of TCP/IP, IP sub-netting, VPN, NAT, VLANs, Inter-VLAN RoutingExperience of Knowledge of IT Security and exposure to IT audit will be an advantage.Strong Knowledge of Linux-Unix (or variants) administration & supportStrong consulting and analytical skillsIncident management experienceProven customer service and client interaction skillsPrior project experience, owning accountability for project delivery through Service Level Agreements (SLA) with internal and external providersExcellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to act as a change agent and interact effectively with others, including senior and executive managementExcellent conflict resolution and negotiation skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to communicate clear under varying pressures Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work well under pressure
Strong understanding of business standards to be able to action workflow/process
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to follow instructions
Demonstrates commitment and ownership to completion of assigned tasks on a timely basis
High energy level, comfortable performing multiple tasks in conjunction with day-to-day activities with high attention to detail, self-starter willing to take initiative
