This position will need to be willing to work in a team that deals with complex, value-added projects requiring creativity, commitment and a high level of professionalism.

You will act both as a Project Manager and project member, working on the following types of projects:

· M&A Deals: Strategic Target Search; Due Diligence of target companies; Company Valuation; Deal Structuring; Negotiation support, and deal implementation

· Corporate Restructuring/divestment transactions: Financial modeling, general tax advisory; preparation of information memorandum; manage the sale process

· Greenfield investment and large Joint Venture projects: ad-hoc support; project implementation and analytical support

The specific responsibilities of this position will be as follows:

· Project Management: project scope definition, resource management, quality and deadline management, cost and efficiency control and client management.

· Fieldwork: quantitative and qualitative information gathering (at top management level).

· Information Analysis: critical interpretation and analysis of economic and financial data.

· Report writing: MS Power Point report structuring and presentation of results.

· Client communication.

This position requires proven technical skills (financial and business analysis), substantial experience in investment related fields, good English writing and communication skills and good China business sense.

· You should have the following qualifications and experience:

o Relevant education in finance, business or economics. Postgraduate Education preferred (Master’s degree in finance, or MBA preferred). Education overseas preferred.

o At least 5 years of “China business” experience, and 2 years in financial advisory, including investment banking, investment research, and private equity. Experience in evaluating small to medium sized Chinese companies preferred.

o Excellent financial and analytical skills (accounting and finance); capable of conducting complex financial models (e.g., valuation models); having a good understanding of the challenges of conducting investment analysis in China.

o Good project management skills, including developing project plan, allocating tasks among the team members, monitoring project progress, critically evaluating the analysis and results, and communicating with the client clearly and in a timely fashion.

o Good English: capable of writing English reports that are clear, succinct, and logical, and speaking English fluently.

o Competent computer skills (MS PowerPoint and Excel).

· You should have the following qualities:

o Proactive, hardworking, active, persistent.

o Good communicator with both Chinese and foreign managers

o Cultural sensitivity, good understanding of both China and Western country business operations and expectations.
