职位描述

InterChina is one of the leading strategy and M&A advisory firms in China. The firm was established in 1994, and now has over 60 professional staff based in four offices across China, Europe and the USA. InterChina's provides solutions to client's growth strategy, and non-organic growth via acquisitions. InterChina is a member firm of IMAP, a global M&A advisory organization specializing in middle market transactions.

InterChina's M&A advisory team has advised on a significant number of transactions in China, assisting leading Fortune 500 and medium sized multinationals to access the China market via acquisitions, China corporate restructuring operations, Greenfield or joint venture establishment.

InterChina's corporate practice consists of 19 staff that include both Chinese and foreign staff, with a majority holding postgraduate (MBA or other discipline) degree, and multilingual skills. The M&A advisory practice usually handles 40 projects a year.

Job Summary

The Associate (M &A) will act as project member and sometimes as project manager, working on the following types of projects:
· Acquisitions: Strategic Target Search; Due Diligence of target companies; Company Valuation; Negotiation support, and deal implementation
· Divestments: general financial analysis, identification of potential buyers, preparation of information memorandum, negotiation support
· Investment projects: support large scale joint venture and strategic alliance negotiations, transaction structuring and general analytical support

The specific responsibilities of this position will be as follows:
· Project Management (if applicable): project scope definition, resource management, quality and deadline management, cost and efficiency control and client management.
· Project Support: documentation, logistics arrangement, note taking, translation, etc.
· Information Collection and Fieldwork: quantitative and qualitative information gathering (cold calls, telephone interviews, face-to-face interviews, etc.).
· Financial analysis and modeling: critical interpretation and analysis of company's financial information
· Report writing: preparation of reports and presentations to client

Job Profile

Candidates should have the following qualifications and experience:
· Batchelor's Degree (Master's degree preferable)
· 1-3 years'working experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or financial analysis experience with a multinationals
· Good English speaking and writing skills
· Pro-active and highly adaptable to both western and Chinese environment and culture
· Good computer skills (MS PPT and Excel)
· Good analytical skills, especially accounting and finance skills.
· Good administrative, organizational and communication skills.
· Enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
· Willing to work hard/overtime; team player.
