Our client is a leading European manufacturing company in the power control and power transmission applications industry, providing specific solutions for industrial applications and automation and mobile equipment. With six production plants worldwide, the company generates approximately EUR 330 million in 2008 with more than 1,700 employees worldwide,almost 50% of revenue achieved in Europe and the 20% overseas
Company's branch office in Shanghai is a 100% foreign invested company (WFOE),
Now is looking for a Application Manager who will be responsible for establishing and coordinating the technical service team in mainland of China
Job specification: Drives Service Center Product Manager (MS)
Responsible for: Presales application support for heavy duty gearboxes
Duties:
1) Establish and coordinate the technical service team in mainland of China
2) Understand the technical needs of local customers tech departments and implementing accordingly new procedures, tools, strategies in order to fulfil their needs.
3) Understand local customer needs in order to select the right product/solution acting as a bridge between the HQ and the tech dept of the local customer
4) Provide both customer's technical department and sales engineers with technical training about Bonfiglioli's product and solutions
5) Creating long term relationships with Local Customers tech departments supporting sales in their commercial actions on the technical side
6) Communicate with HQ, learn their advanced technology to serve our customers, focus on customers' requests, continuous to improve our products and service.
7) Report to national sales and marketing manager
8) Provide both production department and After Sales department with technical support on the products when and if required
9) Develop and manage statistics about technical requests trends received from the market
Skills:
1) MUST have no less than 5 years working experience in gearboxes fields, more than 3 years experience in management preferred
2) Mechanical Power Transmission Knowledge (gears, gearboxes, Pinion shafts, bearings etc )
3) Hydrostatic and or electrical transmission
4) Familiar with Excel and Word
5) Good Teamwork and people management
6) Familiar with MS & WS applications (Mobile Mechanical Applications & Wind Power Applications)
7) Good written and spoken English
8）Mechanical Engineering Bachelor degree above
