Healthcare IT & Process Excellence

Role Summary/Purpose

Serves as technical expert on assigned area’s applications, including code, interfaces and data flows

Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for development and maintenance of application programs & interfaces; coordinates with project teams and business analysts to translate detailed specifications into new or enhanced application solutions
• Demonstrates command of multiple programming languages, basic systems analysis techniques, testing, debugging, documentation standards, file design, storage, and interfacing
• Maintains peer relationships across IT areas (infrastructure, operations, COE,etc) to support effective implementations
• Working knowledge of case and incident management tools and application uptime and case metrics. Teams with vendor support to achieve required service level agreements.

Qualifications/Requirements

Quality Specific Goals:
• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
• Responsible for data integrity of the system inventory, as applicable
• Responsible for the validation of all GxP relevant applications and maintaining the validated state of those applications
• Aware of and comply with the change management work instruction

Qualifications:
• Full system development life cycle hands-on experience: analysis, designing, coding, testing, performance tuning and documentation
• Experience with process quality methodology
• Excellent written and verbal Chinese and English communication skills
• Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver
• Demonstrated leadership in all areas of business analysis, including client interaction, process design, requirements management and functional design
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to explain issues and resolutions to technical and non-technical staff
• Familiar with applications support of technologies related to Java, ASP,.NET, HTML, Javascript, CSS, SQL, Oracle, and similar web based custom applications or tools
• Have interests on new technologies, willing to learn if needed for work. Eg. Clouds, mobile technology and mobile applications development.
• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent
• Minimum two years IT program development experience or equivalent
