Essential Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate potential and priorities for possible standard and customer-designed projects together with the respective Account Sales Manager/Sales Rep. within the defined geographical area.
• Accountable that projects fulfill technical specifications and terms & conditions.
• Prepare quotations for hardware
• Co-ordination of contacts (ie project manager Uppsala, Sweden) to support activities at customers’ site.
• Regular customer visits to establish long lasting customer relationship
• Act as project manager locally for concluded projects together with central project management
• Communicate progress status in projects to customers and account managers
• Document continuously progress of customized filtration hardware prospects. Highlight contingencies and opportunities. Active collaboration with the AM's and sales management functions to produce forecast and budget proposals.
• Accountable for delivery precision and pricing of customized hardware
• Participation in internal and external training: e.g. technical lectures during customer seminars
• Plan, perform local events, e.g. road-shows, seminars, exhibitions, together with the respective product and sales managers.
• Support marketing activities in collecting and documenting activities of competitors. Make proposition which allow development, positioning and production of new sales support material

• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
• Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare HIPPA Guidelines, NEMA Regulations, etc.) and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken.
• Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken
• Ownership of order and configuration quality at the point of entry to ensure accuracy, configuration integrity and that all requirements are tied to documented customer inputs.
• Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biochemical or chemical or above
• Working experience in bio-pharmaceutical industry
• Fluent in English language (oral and written)
• Ability to travel in China and oversea to perform jobs as needed, up to 60% travel with sometimes little notice
• Prior experience using spreadsheet and presentation software
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background

Desired Characteristics

• Experience of upstream processing including cell culture, filtration and chromatography in bio-pharmaceutical industry a plus
• Knowledge of GMP and validation a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complexity
