Job Description SDC is ramping up an offshre team to support BI applications for our client. The BI applicatioins is developed on different technologies including Oracle Hyperion, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Savvion, Data stage, J2EE, Oracle DBA, and Backbase.
The role for this position is to provide managed service to client, including such as trouble shooting, maintenance, monitoring, application enhancement, etc. · Provide production support services Troubleshoot and resolve Level 2 application issues captured as help desk tickets Support and maintain customizations and break-fix modifications made to delivered application functionality · Communicate directly with endusers in regards to resolution of help desk tickets · Update client's Sustain tools following client's processes and standards · Provide rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates for technical development work of application minor enhancements · Perform technical development work associated with application minor enhancements - technical design, development, unit test planning and execution, system test planning and execution, user acceptance test support, production deployment · Support technical architecture including but not limited to, pre-production and production environments, application administration, code migrations, technical environment change management, performance tuning and application/web/database server support functions · Log tickets with client's infrastructure hosting provide regarding issues and requested changes Comply with requests from PwC US based Sustain lead and team leads to provide status and perform production support tasks

> Key requirement · BS/MS degree in CS or comparable technical field. · 5+ years experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, or software development, with 4+ years developing BI applications using MicroStrategy 7.5.3, 8.01 with Narrowcast · 5+ years experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, or software development, with 4+ years developing BI applications using MicroStrategy 7.5.3, 8.01 with Narrowcast · Must be a proven top performer that enjoys challenging assignments in a high-energy and fast growing workplace. · Experience as on large BI projects in a complex environment. · Extensive experience with SQL and large data warehouse environments (preferably Teradata and/or Oracle), and an understanding of data warehousing concepts including dimensional and relational modeling (star/snowflake). · Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences. · Detail oriented with superior analytical, problem solving, and organization skills. · Strong personal networking skills with the ability to relate to executives and employees through all organizational levels. · Experience with Weblogic, J2EE, Datastage, Oracle DBMS would be a plus · system Administrative and development experience,Good command of written and spoken English is a must.
