Requirements:

Experience with and knowledgeable of supply chain operations including: Manufacturing, Sourcing, Purchasing, Inspection, Expediting and Logistics

Excellent communication skills in English

Demonstrate strong technical skills, computer ability (especially in MS Excel) and business acumen

Implementation of the practical aspects of the sourcing and contracting procedures including design specifications, identification of suppliers, reviewing offers, making recommendations of the best materials/services provider etc...

Undertake search of suppliers via internet, established networks and personal visits

Maintain updated networks of suppliers and collect relevant information on best materials/services providers

Negotiation and implementation of contractual arrangement with materials/services suppliers

Prepare analytical summaries and reporting on sourcing activity

Assure that the materials/services satisfy ESG requirements

Assist in calculation of total cost of ownership of the materials/services

Assure the delivery of goods/services to ESG as per signed agreements/contracts

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Willing to travel

MNC work experience in global basis

Job Capsule:

Under direct supervision, plans sourcing of goods and services to support manufacturing and operations strategic plans at the plant level. Complies with and executes Category Management strategy in accordance with policies and procedures. Issues purchase orders in response to material requirements established by manufacturing, field operations or project management. Implements agreements for local procurement of goods and services not covered under Category Management. Creates request for quotations (RFQ) or organizes competitive biddings from various suppliers to obtain best quality, delivery and price for goods and services. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience. Basic procurement certification preferred.
