职位描述
Responsibilities:
·Analyzes, modifies, designs, tests, and supports electrical and/or electronic hardware components and/or firmware for downhole tools and surface systems.
·Clarifies design/drawing questions/issues of electrical and/or electronics components
·Works with sourcing engineer on supplier development activities to develop and proactively initiate process improvement projects with supplier on quality, delivery, and cost.
·Works with suppliers and internal departments to resolve design/drawing and specification-related issues
·Provides engineering support for all aspects of contract manufacturing product qualification and production start up
·Works on multiple projects and/or projects of great complexity requiring independent application of advanced engineering techniques
·Considered a subject matter expert in the application of standard electrical/electronic components.
·Provides technical guidance and leadership to other personnel involved in developing new approaches to problems encountered during the manufacturing process
·Demonstrates creativity, foresight, and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving engineering problems in the most efficient and economical manner
·Interfaces with and support R&D Engineers in providing timely feedback on proposed designs and influence the organization to develop a strong “Design for manufacturability” culture
·Responsible for proper maintenance and understanding of change control
·Resolves design problems as related to components
·Interprets Halliburton specifications for the supply base
·Supports global supplier development efforts through on site manufacturing reviews
·Evaluate value engineering suggestions with design engineering
·Responsible for the review, approval and validation of permanent corrective action plans
·Complies with and leads Halliburton Health, Safety, Environment and Service Quality requirements
Requirements:
·Bachelor Degree or above in, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering and automation or Electro-mechanical Engineering
·Background in design and manufacturing on cable harness, cable assembly, Sensor, Battery and PCBA preferred. Familiar with Oil field, Military, Airspace industry and the electronic products with high temperature application would be a plus.
·Familiarity with design engineering as well as manufacturing processes for electronic components with 7-10 years of experience with design ,process improvement, reliability, HSE and Quality analysis techniques during the design and testing process, and manufacturing supplier development. Be proficient in IPC Standard, such as IPC A610, 620
·Ability to create, read, and or interpret engineering drawings and schematics
·Excellent organizational, facilitation, sourcing project management and team building skills
·Be able and willing to travel to meet business needs.
·Be proficient in both spoken and written English
·Be proficient in use of MS Office applications
·Proficiency with SolidWorks, Pro-E, Autocad or equivalent
·Proactive and self motivated
·Possess excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
·Experience in global sourcing
