Account Director

(High-Tech)


Basic Function


1. Team Management & Clients Management.

2. Responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of team with an emphasis on retaining and expanding current client business.

3. Responsible for overseeing all client budgets (creating, expanding, forecasting, etc) and ensuring that revenue and account profitability for each client is reached on a monthly basis.

4. Responsible for the supervision of all subordinates from SCs to ACs.

5. Assists Practice Leaders on new business efforts.

6. Established PR competency with strong High-Tech experience and strong, senior contacts in the media.




Qualifications


1. 7-10 years of agency experience or equivalent.

2. Specialized high-tech skills. Strong knowledge of high-tech environment and practices, with a strong understanding of China high-tech landscape and practices.

3. Proven PR competency with the ability to craft strong PR messages and story-telling.

4. Proven experience managing a team from a financial, client delivery and staffing perspective.

5. Proven ability to:

· Write new business proposals

· Manage, retain and grow multiple accounts

· Create and manage multiple budgets

· Expand client business

· Develop strategic communication programs

6. Possesses solid presentation skills, including ability to communicate and sell ideas to prospects.

7. Proven leadership skills.

8. Has an established network of senior industry and media contacts.
