职位描述

  • With the fast development of dealer network of BMW Motorrad in China and its weak presence in China in the past, a solid technical support capability is crucial to support the healthy growth of the market. The technical support specialist is an technical expert to give dealers technical guidance and solutions in difficult technical cases whenever the requests are reasonable through all possible ways. The technical specialist will also act as a hub to handle technical related topics, such as summarizing key technical issues to form deep analysis and reports. The result of the work of this position should be timely, professional and hands-on. We aim to improve the overall technical solution performance and therefore to improve the CSI in long run.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Check technical support requests from dealers and analyze the diagnosis/work done.

  • Generate technical solutions in a structural process by information collection, dealer communication, logical analysis and existing database.

  • Request for necessary technical support and form support requests to the 2nd tier technical support team for any cases that can't be solved in this tier.

  • Communicate the technical solution with concerned dealers in efficient and effective ways to ensure a good understanding of the solution at the dealer side.

  • Give necessary support to dealers on the technical solutions given to facilitate the implementation of the solution when necessary.

  • Do on-site evaluation and support in special cases when required.

  • Monitor vehicle quality status in the market through technical support channels and form insights and reports timely.

  • Support the solution of special cases, like technical campaigns, special warranty cases, etc.

  • Deliver on-site entry level technical qualification program to new dealers when necessary.

  • Any other technical related tasks assigned by the after sales manager.


Education / Degree:


  • Technical junior colleage diploma and above. Automotive engineering major is preferred.


Knowledge / Skills / Competences:


  • Expert level solid vehicle technical theory and hands-on service knowledge and (electrics and power train). BMW products knowledge and motorcycle knowledge are bonus.

  • Knowledge/experience of BMW diagnostic processes and tools is preferred.

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office software and common office IT skills.

  • A clear mind with logical thinking and analytical skills.

  • Willing to learn and grow with good learning skills;

  • Fluent in spoken and written Chinese.

  • Spoken and written English must be above acceptable level;

  • Stable and accountable.

  • Motorcycle riding is a bonus


Experience:


  • Knowledge of BMW diagnostic process and tools

  • Motorcycle product knowledge and technical related work experience

  • Automotive technical background in OEMs or dealers.
