To fulfill the internal reporting requirements, especially to the NOV Corporate.
To provide the company’s financial and business situations to the management for make operation and strategy decision makings
Assist Controller on detailed review of joint ventures

? Responsibility scope covers two joint ventures, one WOFE and one branch company
? Detailed review of accounts and entries
? B/S and I/S items fluctuations analysis, trace for causes and recommend action plans
? Responsible for the monthly reporting via the Hyperion Financial Management System, including uploading financial data, validation checking, completing various web forms etc.
? Prepare the internal control SOX documents to HQ
? Calculation of the inter-company markups for different IC entities and make amortizations of such markups as well as reconciliations among the ICs.
? Make GAAP adjustments
? Cost variance investigation, analysis and interpretation in various field such as price, material, overhead, capacity, quality cost etc. and preparing related reports
? Monitoring working capital, expenses, prices, margins, inventory and accounts receivable turnover rate etc, proposing corrective actions whenever needed
? Profit performance and investment appraisal with non-financial indicators, product and customer profitability analysis and make presentations to the management
? Responsible for the annual business planning and rolling-forecasting consolidation
? Monitoring and controlling the company risks including but not limited to credit control, capital cost, liquidity risk, currency risk, legal risk and other operating risks
? Assisting the improvement of internal control systems and processes for the business unit
? Coordinating with operation departments for business control and provides related supporting
? Visiting manufacturing plants from time to time, accomplish other ad hoc tasks assigned by the controller.
