Description
PROS is hiring a Senior Strategic Consultant who wants to take their skills, perspective, and talent they have developed within the B2B pricing profession and put it to use with the market leader in the price management and optimization software industry. This position will lead our pre-sales efforts as PROS expands its presence in the Chinese market.
What does a Strategic Consultant do?
The Strategic Consultant will have responsibility for all aspects of the pre-sales process and, in conjunction with our partners, navigates and guides prospects to achieve a successful revenue generating conclusion of the sales process. This involves leading structured discovery processes, driving solution demonstrations and constructing compelling business cases to show our prospects how they make money with PROS software. In addition, the Strategic Consultant will provide thought leadership for regional messaging and pre-sales content development, in conjunction with the marketing department.
Required Experience
Specifically, the ideal candidate will have:
· Superior selling skills, a strong people development orientation, and the ability to execute on strategy.
· Excellent analytical and quantitative skills used to translate data and trends, along with market and customer insight, into the execution of a clear selling strategy.
· Have 5-10 years of experience in B2B pricing either as a pricing practioner or consultant
· Have senior, pre-sales and enterprise / applications / solution sales and/or consulting experience.
· Demonstrated track record of goal achievement.
· Will travel approx 40-50% to their assigned Customers within China.
· Have experience developing Go-to-Market plans, Business Cases and ROI / TCO documentation.
· Will have lived and worked for 10+ years in China and speak Mandarin Chinese fluently.
