Reporting to: Senior Project Manager (SPM) or Director of Projects
Description of the position: The Project Manager will be in charge of the overall management of the project.

Main responsibilities:
？ Ensure that project operations are performed in accordance with the Client and the Project Management requirements. (time, budget, quality, safety)
Management
？ Contract administration including, reporting, document submission, amendments, variations, claims, etc.
？ Subcontract administration, including amendments, variations, claims.
？ Project Team organisation.
？ Programme of Works with MS Project.
？ Manage internal / external company relations.
Technical
？ Overall co-ordination of the BU Engineering Department, Design Institute and client during the Basic and Detailed Design phases.
？ Technical compliance to the Contract Requirements and the Guarantees.
Finance
？ Define Project budget with SPM.
？ Manage Project budget.
？ Manage contract payment requests, payments and claims.
？ Manage subcontractor and supplier payment requests, payments and claims.
Health & Safety
？ Implement XXX Asia Municipal H&S plan and procedures, if required in co-ordination with national, regional and client’s particular schemes.
Quality Assurance
？ Implement XXX Asia Municipal QA plan and procedures, if required in co-ordination with client’s particular scheme.

Based in: __________ for the project duration of about __ years
Mobility: Not required for this posting. Able to travel all over China for subsequent posting

Candidate Profile
Education:
？ Master degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent
Experience:
？ Minimum 5 yrs experience in the position of Project Manager or as a Consultant.
Skills:
？ Working knowledge of Chinese rules, regulations, permits & contractor’s obligations.
？ Speaks, reads and writes English.
？ Good command of standard Microsoft software including Microsoft Project

Compensation
Gross salary: Depending on experience and qualifications
Bonus scheme: Discretionary based on company and employee performance

Other benefits: Local housing and living allowance. Travel allowance.
