ECH currently seek Assistant Facility Managers to be based in Shanghai / Guangzhou / Beijing / Chengdu.

Job role:

As Assistant Facility Manager you will work within the Facility Management Team representing 100 branches (80,000 sq metres in total) in Shanghai / Guangzhou / Beijing / Chengdu.

You will assist Facility Manager to plan, coordinate and monitor the operations of Security guarding, daily/routine building services, cleaning and pest control, repair and maintenance of E&M facilities system and equipment in commercial premises on behalf of client. You will also be responsible to head up a team of AFO, Technicians and Admin as appropriate, in providing the management and operations; monitoring the contractors' performance to maintain quality and efficient services to the customers.

Job duties:

• To provide comment, suggestion, arrangement & report/record on the maintenance issues upon client request.
• To schedule and issue work order (WO) for maintenance to technicians and service partners.
• To initiate & update changes to the Maximo database.
• To check on site maintenance carried out by service partners to ensure work quality and method for complying with industrial requirements, KPI and SLA.
• To organize/attend site inspection/discussion with the client and Customers to sort out the services maintenance and associated issues if necessary.
• To check the work progress & record to ensure compliance of KPI and SLA from a maintenance perspective.
• To assist Facility Manager to carryout conditions surveys on properties and plan & monitor CAPEX works.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services or relevant discipline.
• 4 - 6 years post degree experience in building maintenance / E&M services preferable in property/facility management.
• Professional Membership in IFMA FMP / MRICS
• Chartered Engineer is an advantage
• Excellent communications, both verbal and written in Chinese & English.
• Skills of Interpersonal, Proactive, Teamwork is required.
• Hold others accountable for their actions.
• Use open probing and reflective questions.
