Job Responsibilities:

Candidate will serve as a database solution consultant assisting partners in solution development and application migration utilizing IBM technology. Candidate should possess deep technical skills and experience as well as strong client facing skills, have a good well rounded background in application development and taking a lead role in a consulting effort. Candidate needs to have capability to lead and structure projects, supervise junior staff members. In addition, delivering training and workshops of latest database technologies to business partners is also a mission of the team.

Job Requirements (Skill/Experience):

- At least 5 years experience in application development utilizing databases

- Certified in DB2 or Oracle is required

- Superb knowledge in application development across multiple environment, such as Linux, Unix and Windows operating systems

- Have a solid understanding of one or two programming environments, be proficient in PL/SQL and SQL coding.

- Familiar with the latest DB2 technologies, e.g. BLU, pureScale, etc.

- Additional knowledge about surrounding technologies, e.g. MQ Series, Websphere, ...

- Strong leadership, self-motivated, quick learner and with strong problem solving ability

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Fluent in both Chinese and English, additional languages skill is a plus

Qualification

- Bachelor or above Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
