Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead a software team designing low cost, industry leading test instrument. You will also work with hardware engineering, marketing, manufacturing and management to bring next generation products to market. As a software team lead, you will be expected to:
? Increase the effectiveness of your software engineering team through skill set development and engineering process improvements.
? Analyze and define the software requirements specification with marketing team for new product.
? Write documents for software requirements specification and user interface specification for new product.
? Lead the team to develop the software features for various Tektronix Oscilloscope products.
? Lead the team to debug and test the software applications.
? Lead the team to analyze and fix the issues during the whole system integration.


Job Requirements

The successful candidate should have solid leadership skills and a foundation in embedded product development, with relevant experience and understanding of HW/SW system architecture and integration issues. Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are required in both English and Mandarin.

A strong technical background is required to participate in program risk analysis and mitigation. Preference will be given to applicants who are results oriented, self-motivated and focused on team results.

Other requirements:
? 3-5 years of embedded software development experience in teams with at least 5 developers.
Lead a software project team to go through a program from start to finish.
? Knowledge about Linux system development, process, multi-thread, UI, file system;
? Good people interface, communication skills, including demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams.
? Bachelor, Master (preferred) or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields
? Familiar with Oscilloscope or DMM, digital signal process theory and algorithm is a plus.
